April 10, 2020 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 On February 28, 2020 (Reference), Exelon Generation Company, LLC, (EGC) requested NRC approval of a relief request for Braidwood Station (BRW), Units 1 and 2; Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (CCNPP), Units 1 and 2; Clinton Power Station (CPS), Unit 1; Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2; Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (NMP), Units 1 and 2; Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3; and R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant (GIN). The proposed relief request would allow an alternative to perform supplemental indication testing that satisfies 10 CFR 50.55a(b)(3)(xi) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code for Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants (OM Code)-
2012 Edition, paragraph ISTC-3700, "Position Indication Testing."
In light of discussion held with the NRC on April 1, 2020, EGC has elected to withdraw the proposed relief request.
