4 APPLICATION FOR. AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE l
Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the New York Power Authority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an Amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in Appendices A and B of this license.
The proposed Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETS) will replace in its entirety the current Appendix B of the FitzPatrick Technical Specifications.
Associated additions and i
deletions to Appendix A which would accompany RETS are included in this Application.
I The proposed RETS are in Attachment I to this Application for
-Amendment.
Associated changes to Appendix A are given in Attachment II.
The Safety Evaluation for both sets of changes is
'in Attachment III.
Additional information concerning the differences between the revised RETS and NUREG-0473 Revision 3 Draft 7" are included in Attachment IV.
The Authority requests l
that the proposed amendment be approved with a fixed implementation date of July 1, 1985.
