ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS FOR THE PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNIT N0. 1 (TAC NO. M82830), UNIT NO. 2 (TAC NO. M82831),
AND UNIT NO. 3 (TAC N0. M82832)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 62 to facility Operating License No. NPF-41, Amendment No. 48 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-51, and Amendment No. 34 to facility Operating License No. NPF-74 for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Unit Nos.1, 2, and 3, respectively.
The amendments consist of changes to the Tcchnical Specifications in response to your application dated February 14, 1992.
These amendments allow the impimentation of the guidance provided in NRC
-Generic Letter 89-01 wherein programmatic controls for radiological effluents are contained in the Technical Specifications but the details are relocated to either the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual or to the Process Control Program.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
A notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly f_qderal Reaister notice.
