STN 50-528/529/530 PVNGS Physical Security Plan Amendment 40 in accordance with the above referenced regulations, Arizona Public Service Company (APS), has incorporated a change to the PVNGS Physical Security Plan to add a description for protection against the malevolent use of vehicles and reformat the entire ,

Plan.

Enclosed please find an original and three copies of Amendment 40 to the PVNGS Physical Security Plan. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4)(iii) and by copy of this letter, APS is forwarding two copies of Amendment 40 to the Regional Administrator,

- NRC Region IV.

This amendment does not decrease the effectiveness of the PVNGS Physical Security Plan and, therefore, is being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p). A summary of the changes is included in Enclosure 1, a justification of changes is included in Enclosure 2 and the original of the PVNGS Physical Security Plan, Amendment 40, is included in Enclosure 3.
