DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 NRC Approval of Exxon Nuclear's Clad Creep Collapse Evaluation Methods An issue was raised concerning the lack of approval of Exxon Nuclear's Clad Creep Collapse Evaluation Methods during the NRC review of the License Amendment Request dated June 24, 1983. The methods used by Exxon to support this license amendment had been submitted for review as a separate issue, but their review was not complete at that time.

A letter was issued by NSP on November 9,1983 to temporarily resolve this issue. Since that time these methods have been reviewed and approved by the staff as documented in the D C Cook Safety Evaluation Reports issued by the NRC on June 25, 1984. Therefore, we believe this issue is now closed.
