Letter from OPPD (R. L. Andrews) to NRC (J. R. Miller) dated February 28, 1985.

Dear Mr. Miller:

Auxiliary Feedwater System Technical Specifications Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Testing Frequency Based upon Reference (2), the Omaha Public Power District has received notifi-cation from our Project Manager that an appeals meeting on the Auxiliary Feed-water System Technical Specifications is necessary.

In preparation for this meeting, the District has continued to research this subject.

Our research has led us to the conclusion that an appeals meeting is no longer necessary and that the District will submit a change to our Technical Specifications in-comorating the monthly testing of the auxiliary feedwater pumps.

The District plans to submit a proposed change to our Technical Specifications within 60 days of this letter which incorporates monthly testing of both the electric and steam driven auxiliary feeddater pumps.
