• MONTHLY NARRATIVE REPORT

• OF OPERATION AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE ~ EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance experience for the month of October,1984. This narrative report was prepared by the plant staff and is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.10 of the Plant Technical Specifications.

On October 30, 1984 a full scale emergency response plan exercise drill was successfully conducted involving local, county and state government agencies and observed by members of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

There is no significant operating experience or major safety-related maintenance to report. ,

No challenges to the PORV's or safety valves have been made.

-No changes have been made in the Offsite Dose Calculation Procedure, the Environmental Radiological Monitoring Procedure, or any radioactive waste treatment systems.
