WASHINGTON PUBLIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM WNP-2 PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN, REVISION 9 Enclosed please find the subject revision. Text changes have been noted by a line on the right hand margin of the page.
This revision is submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54 (p) and does not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
This change revises the scheduling of WNP-2 Security Orientation training so that it corresponds with refresher training for Radiological / General Employee Training.
The NRC approved Supply System Health Physics Description requires annual or biennial refresher training depending upon an individual's duties and level of radiological training (basic or advanced). This submittal aligns employee security orientation training on the same annual / biennial schedule to assure cost effective and reliable scheduling and documentation of these related training items, while maintaining an adequate employee security awareness program at the plant.
The enclosures contain Safeguards Information concerning security measures for the physical protection of Supply System facilities in which special nuclear material is used. This information is to be protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
