LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES - AMENDMENT 84, CHANGE TO NUCLEAR LIABILITY INSURANCE AMOUNT (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2019-LLA-0002)

Dear Mr. Padgett:

In accordance with your application dated March 13, 2019 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20078J155), and pursuant to Part 70 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Materials License SNM-2010 is hereby amended to reduce the required nuclear liability insurance maintained in accordance with 10 CFR 140.13b. Accordingly, License Condition 15 has been modified to read as follows:

15. The licensee shall maintain a minimum of $200 million in liability insurance coverage.

In addition, the following license conditions have been revised to clarify and update the information:

• License conditions containing sensitive, unclassified information have been moved to a new section at the end of the license titled Sensitive Conditions. This eliminates the need for 2 enclosures containing a redacted license and an unredacted license. The reformatted license can be redacted by removing the pages containing sensitive conditions.

• License Condition 9 has been renumbered 9.A and a new License Condition 9.B has been added to explain that the license is deemed to contain two sections.

Documents transmitted herewith contain security-related information. When separated from the sensitive conditions in Enclosure 1, this document is decontrolled.

• License Condition 10.b has been revised to add the date of June 25, 2019. This revision of your safety analysis report was approved in our letter dated August 22, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19231A205).

All other conditions remain the same.

Enclosed are copies of the amended license (Enclosure 1), and the safety evaluation report (Enclosure 2). This amendment completes action on your request. Enterprise Project Identification No. L-2019-LLA-0002 is considered closed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter, the safety evaluation report, and the non-sensitive conditions in the license will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room and ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The sensitive conditions in the license will be withheld from the public.
