Dear Sir:

Our telecon of January 31,1985 [ Reference (b)], informed you of a potentially reportable 10CFR50.55(e) deficiency concerning a radiograph of Weld 3J1 on the Cation Bed Demineralizer.

This incident has been evaluated to be an isolated clerical error caused by inadvertently placing a radiograph from another vessel into the document package for the subject weld. The evidence indicates that no attempt was made to falsify information in the document package. Weld 3J1 has been re-radiographed and the weld found to be acceptable. The documentation deficiency has been corrected.

Our evaluation indicates that no safety implication is present and that this item is not reportable under the provisions 10CFR50.55(e).
