Dear Sir:

We reported in Reference (b) a potential 10CFR50.55(e) to Region I regarding a test which indicated a reduced discharge head less than the design specified head. To date, we have not been able to determine the causes of the indicated reduced discharge head, nor have we completed our evaluation of the

, safety significance of this item. We are continuing our efforts and will l submit a report regarding this matter before June 7, 1985.
