McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-169,370 Deletion of Appendix B, Environmental Protection Plan, Supplement 2 Gentlemen:
By letter dated November 2,1994 and supplemented for McGuire Nuclear Station on November 16,1995, Duke Power Company submitted a proposed license amendment for Catawba and McGuire Nuclear Stations which deleted Appendix B, the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP). Subsequently, during conversations with members of your staff, it was requested that the examples of reportable events which are presently listed in section 4.1 of the EPP and not presently listed a's an event requiring a 10 CFR 50.72 report in section l
202.7.7 of the Nuclear System Directive (NSD) 202 be added to the NSD for clarification.
These examples of events will be added to section 202.7.7 during the next update to the NSD.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this amendment request has been provided to the appropriate North Carolina state official.
