(E) Telephone conversation between L. Miller and W. E. Ide on November 2, 1984

Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference (A),

Interim Reports were transmitted by References (B) and (D), and a Time Extension was requested by Reference (C).

Reference (D) estimated that a Final Report would be available by November 9,1984.

Subsequently, Reference (E) was initiated which confirmed a meeting between the NRC and the ANPP, to be held in Walnut Creek, to discuss the applicable issues of this potentially reportable deficiency.

Based on results of the forthcoming meeting and completion of the investi-gation and evaluation, it is expected a Final Report will be issued by November 21, 1984.
