Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant Revision to the Kewaunee Industrial Security Manual and the Training and Qualifications Manual Attached please find six (6) copies of revision 6 to the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) Industrial Security Manual (ISM) and revision 5 to the KNPP Security Force Training and Qualifications Manual (T&QM).
In general, the ISM has been revised to reflect the current plant and security layout as a result of the construction of the new office / warehouse annex. The ISM has also been revised to clarify the criteria for allowing contractort/
consultants unescorted access to vital areas and to reflect the recent corporate reorganization. The T&QM has been revised to reflect the current shooting range practices regarding weapons qualifications.
A narrative description of the revisions have been included as attachments A and B to this letter to aid your review.
In addition, the affected pages have been incorporated as attachments C and D, with the changes highlighted with revision bars.
WPSC has determined that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effec-tiveness of the Security Manuals and are therefore submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
Please note, however, that 10 CFR 50.54(p) requires that these revisions be furnished to the NRC within two months of th< ir /f,M effective date. As discussed with members of your staff (Mr. Kers), WPSC JEAICA M/
