Hope Creek Generating Station Docket No. 50-354 License Change Roquest 91-17 Low Pressure Coolant Injection (LPCI) and Core Spray System (CSS) Alarm Instrumentation By letter dated June 15, 1992, Public Service Electric and Gar Company (PSE&G) submitted the subject license change request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The proposed change would provide an allowable-out-of-service time (AOT) for the LPCI system and CSS discharge line " keep filled" alarm instrumentation. This would allow monthly surveillance tests to be performed on interrelating instrumentation without requiring the LPCI and/or CSS system (s) to,be vented.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy?s Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) reviewed the above amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.91(b).
Based on this review, BNE does not have any comments on the proposed change request.
