Dear Mr. Miller:
Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) Instrumentation The Omaha Public Pcwer District's letter to the Commission dated August 13, 1984 (Reference 1) informed your office that the District's TGM system would be declared operable by September 30, 1984. This letter serves to provide formal notification that the District declared the TGM system operable on September 28, 1984. We noti-fied your office (Mr. E. G. Tourigny, NRC Project Manager for Fort Calheun Station) of the operability of the system in a telephone call on October 1, 1984. Prepara-tion of Technical Specifications for the Toxic Gas Monitors is currently underway.
It is expected that submittal will be made by the end of January, 1985.
