SUPPLEMENTAL REPLY TO NOTICE VIOLATION (EA 91-158)
Gentleraen:
On January 3,1992, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a Notice of Violation as part of Enforcement Action (EA)91-158 for issues at the Brunswick Steem Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2.
By letter dated February 14,1992, Carolina Power & Light Company responded to the Nodce of Violation.
l As addressed in the response to Example A of Violation I, the Brunswick Nuclear Project indicated l
that revisico of Operatir.g Procedur63 and Periodic Tests to romove ambiguities associated with repeated steps (for redundant system loops) within these plant procedures would be accomplished by April 1,1992. Thirty-nine (39) procedures were identified as requiring revision to address this concern. During the revision process, two (2) of the thirty ntne procedures were re-evaluated and determined to be adequate; therefore, these two procedures were not resised. Revision of the last of the thirty-seven affected procedures was completed April 28,1992.
