DOCKET N05. 50-445 AllD 50 446 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON AMEHDMENT 79 TO THE CPSES FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REFORT (FSAR)
Gentlemen:
In response to the NRC's request for additional information on Amendment 79 to the CPSES FSAR, TV Electric submits the f ollowing.
Amendment 79 to the CPSES FSAR revised tables 7.1-2.3 and 7.1 2.4
' Applicability Matrix. for Engineered Safety Systems" and ' Applicability Matrix for Systems Required for afe Shutdown."
The change removed the r
applicability of General Design Criterion (GDC) 54 of 10 CFR 50 Appendix A from the Auxiliary Feedwater System instrumentation.
At the staff's request, TV Electric re evaluated the change and determined that GDC 54 is applicable to the Auxiliary Feedwater System Instrumentation.
TV Electric will submit a change in a future FSAR amendment to re-instate the GDC 54 applicability to the Auxiliary Feedwater System Instrumentation.
