In response to R.E. Martin's Request for Additional Information (Reference 2), Catawba offers the following reply:
i Catawba is mquesting the referenced relief only for Unit 2 for the first ten-year inservice -

,..i inspection interval. For the Unit 2 first ten-year inservice inspection interval, the l
l applicable ASME Code edition is the 1980 Edition through Winter 1981 addenda.
.. Catawba is not mquesting c_orresponding relief for Unit I because all Code-required
- inspections for Unit I had been previously completed during its first ten-year inservice

-inspection interval.

_Regarding our submittal of a Unit 1 examination boundary drawing in Reference 1, it was i
indicated in Reference 1 that a corresponding Unit 2 drawing was in the course of l
- preparation when Relief Request 95-04 was submitted and that the Unit 1 and Unit 2 examination boundaries ~ are identical. No corresponding Unit 2 drawing is available at present. In addition, FSAR Figure Number 6-116 is a flow diagram of the containment.
