CP CO (J W COOK) LETTER TO US NRC (H R DENTON) SERIAL 29801, DATED MAY 24, 1984 Attached hereto is an application for amendment to Construction Permits No CPPR-81 and CPPR-82 for Units 1 and 2 of the Midland facility. The application requests an extension of the construction completion dates for Unit 1 from December 1, 1984 to December 1, 1989 and for Unit 2 from July 1, 1984 to July 1, 1989. This request supersedes our previous application, dated May 24, 1984, for an extension to Construction Permit Jo CPPR-82.
A check in the amount of $1,200 for a Class II Construction pertait amendment

was enclosed with the now auperseded May 24, 1984 amendment %o Construction Permit No CPPR-82. This payment should be applied to the attached amendment along with the enclosed check in the amount of $400 for a Class I Construction Permit Amendment, as specified by 10 CFR 170.22.
