This is in response to your letter dated August 31, 1984 requesting that MHB Technical Associates be added to the service list in the captioned proceeding.
Under the Commission's rules regarding service in 10 C.F.R. 52.712(b),
a party is served by service upon its designated representa-tive or attorney of record.
Accordingly, the Rules do not provide for service upon a party's witnesses, as you have requested.
However, in order to expedite matters, we will provide MHB Technical Associates with a
copy of any technical document subsequently issued and related to the contentions served by our firm in the event the contentions are not dismissed.
