Clinton Power Station Unit 1 Incor; oration of Licensing Review Group (LRG)-II Position Papers into the Operating License Application SER Confirmatory Issue #69
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
In a letter from D. L. Holtzscher, Chairman of LRG-II, to J. J.
Stefano, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), dated June 29, 1984, three generic position papers were transmitted to the NRC. The purpose of this letter is to incorporate these same position papers into the operating license application for Clinton Power Station. The position papers are:
7-CPB, Revision 1, Rod Withdrawal Transient Analysis 4-CSB, Containment Purge Operational Data Gathering and Evaluation Program 5-CSB, Containment Access Management Program In addition, enclosed is an attachment entitled " Interim Guidelines for Containment Purge Operation Clinton Power Station - Unit 1".
The information in this attachment and the LRG-II generic position papers 4-CSB and 5-CSB constitute Illinois Power's response to Confirmatory Issue #69.
