Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
This application req nsts that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Technical Spedtications, Appendix A, be revised to reflect the changes attached. The proposed changes involve Table 3.6-2 and bases.
The attachments identify the changes, Safety Evaluation and Significant Hazard Conditions for the revised amendment request submittal dated September 25, 1981 (Serial No. 738) concerning containment isolation valves in the steam generator drain line. This submittal adds the requirement for closure time for the isolation valves MS 603 and MS 611.
This amendment request involves a change to the License. Enclosed is a check for $150 as requested by 10 CFR 170.12.
