Dear Administrative Judges:

In a letter dated March 5,1992, Alabama Power Company submitted to the Board a vertical timeline highlighting significant dates and events that are releva~ to the above-styled enforcement action. Upon review of this timeline, Alabama Power Company has discovered two errors which, to avoid confusion, should be corrected. Alabama Power Company notes, however, that this vertical timeline is _n_ot a part of the record, but was submitted at the Board's request.

Tht: first correction is to the middle of page 2 of the timeline where the chronology indicates that Generic Letter 85-15 and SECY 85-220 were issued after the November 30, 1985 EO compliance deadline. A he timeline should be changed to show that Generic Letter 15 and SECY 85-220 were issued prior to the EO deadline. The second change involves a correction to the issuance date of the Order imIlosine Civil Penalt.y. The vertic,a. l timeline states that this event occurred in November,1990, and should he revised gnc6 the Order

= is enclosed. Though the original vertical timeline was based principally on Alabama Power -

Company Exhibit 92 (the horizontal timeline presented in the February hearing), that exhibit requires no corrections.

- Alabama Power Company has discussed these changes with Staff counsel and submits these changes with the NRC's concurrence.
