Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference (A), an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), and Time Extensions were requested by References (C) and (D). At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by August 22, 1984.

APS is currently reviewing the Final Report. It is expected a Final Report will be transmitted to the NRC by September 12, 1984.

There is no new infctmation or change to the Interim Report at this time.
