Dear Mr. Vassallo:
By letter dated March 20, 1984 (NLS-84-094), Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) stated taat load testing for the stud tensioner frame and the invessel service platform strongback would be completed by August 31, 1984.
Further investigation revealed that the invessel service platform had been factory load tested at 130% of rated load on February 9, 1979. The 125% of rated Brunswick-1 stud tensioner frame was successfully load tested at load.on August 13, 1984.
Due.to-work which is in progress on the Brunswick-2 refueling floor, the Brunswick-2 stud tensioner frame could not be load tested by the August 31,-
The stud tensioner frame will be load tested to 125% of rated 1984 deadline.
