Dear Mr. Lickus:

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IDNS) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, this ietter is to inform you that IDNS has hired two new persons as Resident inspectors.

We intend to place these Resident Inspectors at the Braidwood and Clinton stations.

Mr. Thomas Esper began employment with IDNS on August 14, 1995. Ile is a former licensed operator from Oconee and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson. Our intent is to place Mr. Esper at Braidwood in a training status beginning the week of September 4,1995. Due to NRC course schedules, he won't be certified until next spring. Once certified, we plan to move Jeff Roman to our Mazon office as a PWR Coordinater.

Mr. David Zemel will begin employment with IDNS in the latter half of September. IIe is coming to us from Boston Edison and has a strong maintenance background from his employment history at Clinton, River Bend, and Pilgrim. IIe has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University and completed the SRO certification program at Boston Edison.

In addition, our last Resident inspector will report to us on January 2,1996.

Current plans are that he will go to Lasalle. Once he is certified, Rick Zuffa will report to the Mazon office and be our BWR Coordinator. This will complete the professional staffing for the Resident Inspector Section. We hope to move Bob Z 4.--
