TVA letter dated January 15, 1992 This letter is being issued to provide NRC with a revision to page 1 and 2 of Enclos'are 3 of the letter issued on January 15, 1992.
In the January 15, 1992 letter, TVA submitted the revised BFN FPR. t' the letter provided a list of fire protection projects that 17A is committed to perform the Unit / Cycle outage for scheduled implementation. A recent review of the Enclosure has identified a typographical error.
Item P.
cf the Enclosure, identified Unit 2 Cycle 6 for installation of a central fire alarm panel in Unit 3 control room when TVA's intention was to perform this work during Unit 3 Cycle 5B outage.
Consequently, TVA is providing revised pages for the Enclosure.
Please remove pages 1 and 2 of the Enclosure and insert the pages provided.

ENCLOSURE 3 Fire Protection Upgrade Program The April 4,1988 Fire Protection Report submittal had a supplement which corte.ined a Fire Protection Upgrade List. This Fire Protection Upgrade list contained 52 projects. The scope of this list included the entire Browns Ferry Nuclear Plar.t site and was to provide complete and integrated fire protection system for the plant considering NRC and NFPA guidelines and insurance company and utility industry standard practices.
The list below shows cl1 projects that TVA is committing to the NRC with the unit / cycle outage scheduled implementation. Those projects not included in the list have been evaluated by TVA and determined to be seceptable in their existing configuration to satisfy safe shutdown requirements. The deleted projects previously submitted as "tc be determined" stated that these projects will be evaluated for inclusion in the BFN integrated schedule. TVA will continue to pursue this course of action and each fire protection project will be evaluated on a case by case basis per the Masters Issues List. An economic evaluation will be performed and then these projects will be ranked with all other potential projects by the BFN Change Control Board. TVA will then work cl1 projects in ranked order that can be financed by the available annual budget.
The following projects are committed to by TVA with specified outages for implementation.
