Pursuant to the requirements of Appendix B, Part II, Nonradiological, Environmental Protection Plan, Section 3.2, a copy of the report to the Michigan Water Resources Commission notifying them of the Turbine Room Sump Process pH Meter being rendered inoperable on July 25, 1984, is attached.
This report is required by Amendment No. 54 to Facility Operating License No.
DPR-58 and Amendment No. 40 to Facility Operating License No.
DPR-74 dated May 6, 1982.

Dear Mr. Zugger:
At 0630 hours0.00729 days <br />0.175 hours <br />0.00104 weeks <br />2.39715e-4 months <br />, July 25, 1984, the continuously monitoring turbine room sump pil meter was found inoperative.
While repairs were being made, the turbine room sump was manually controlled and allowed to discharge to the plant's absorption pond only after a grab sample verified the pH to be kithin permit limits.
The meter was returned to service at 0950 hours0.011 days <br />0.264 hours <br />0.00157 weeks <br />3.61475e-4 months <br />, July 25.
