Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Questions on Decay Heat Removal - Schedule for Responding This is to document a conversation with D. Dilanni of your staff on August 6, 1984 concerning your letter of July 18, 1984 which requested responses to questions on Decay Heat Removal within thirty days.
Your letter states that the Technical Evaluation Report (TER) by EG8G was to have been enclosed along with the request for additional information, tiPUN was informed that the TER was being mailed separately. On August 6, 1984 the TER had not been received which prompted the call to NRC.
Inasmuch as GPUN's response to NRC' questions on Decay Heat Removal will address the technical concerns stated in the TER, GPUN intends to provide a response 30 days from receipt of the TER. We understand that this schedule is acceptable to your staff.
