10CFR 26, Appendix A, Fitness For Duty Program Revised Guidelines for Specimen Temperature Gentlemen:
By letter dated November 6, 1989 (Serial Number 1734), Toledo Edison (TE) informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that it would implement more stringent cut-off levels for urine specimen temperature than was specified in the regulations. On October 13, 1995, TE revised its Fitness For Duty Program to change the urine specimen temperature limits to those specified in the regulatory requirements in 10CFR 26, Appendix A, Section 2.4(g)(14). The revised urine temperature range used at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station will be 32.5 degrees Celsius to 37.7 degrees Celsius or 90.5 degrees Fahrenheit to 99.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
