J River Bend Station - Unit 1 Refer to: RIV Docket No. 50-458/ILE Bulletin 83-06 In a letter dated April 16, 1984, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) responded to I&E Bulletin 83-06 with information available at that time and committed to submit a final response or status report by July 2, 1984. This letter is GSU's final report concerning I&E Bulletin 83-06 " Nonconforming Materials Supplied by Tube-Line Corporation Facilities at Long Island City, New York; Houston, Texas; and Carol Stream, Illinois".
GSU's April 16, 1984 letter indicated that responses had been received from all vendors and subvendors with the exception of Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
Since that time GSU has completed its investigation and has determined no Tube-Line material has been supplied through TVA. This concludes GSU's response to I&E Bulletin 83-06.
Utility staff time expended in responding to this bulletin was approximately 150 man-hours. Time expended by vendors and subvendors is not known.
