Dear Mr. Denton:
The Referenced letters transmitted the Wolf Creek and Callaway Inservice Testing (IST) Programs for Pumps and Valves. Transmitted herewit:1 is an update of the Wolf Creek IST Program for Pumps and Valves.
The original IST Program was developed in compliance with Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, 1977 Edition through Summer 1978 Addenda. Changes have been made to the program such that the IST Program now meets the requirements of Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,1980 Edition through Winter 1981 Addenda.
Other format and content changes to the IST Program are due to the changes in the Wolf Creek Technical Specifications, revisions to the Wolf Creek Final Safety Analysis Report, and NRC guidance documents. Due to the extent of the changes, revision bars were not added.
This information is hereby incorporated into the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No.1, Operating License Application.
