Dear Sir:

Reference (c) reported a 10CFR50.55(e) deficiency regarding inadvertent closure of Brown Boveri 5 kV circuit breakers. The corrective action recommended by the manufacturer was the installation of a close-latch anti-shock spring to the circuit breakers to eliminate the possibility of inadvertent closure. ' rho installation of these cprings has been completed for the Unit 1 circuit breakers. The springs were installed on the Unit 2 circuit breakers by the manufacturer during their assembly.

This completes the corrective action and, therefore, we consider this the final report on this 10CFR50.55(e) deficiency.
