In response to NRC letter dated September 26, 1984 which transmitted an Order Imposing Civil Monetary Penalty, please find attached a check in the amount of $40,000.
Duke Power continues to believe that the civil penalty is unnecessary. However, in order to close the matter at hand, we will pursue the issue no further.
