Exercise Report of the December 14, 1983, Exercise of the Off::ite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plans for the Commanche Peak Steam Electric Station Attached are two copies of the Exercise Report of the December 14, 1983, joint exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans for the Commanche Peak Steam Electric Station. The State of Texas as well as Somervell and Hood Counties participated in the exercise. The report dated June 25, 1984, was prepared by Region VI of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). A schedule of corrective actions is included in Table 2 of this report. FEMA Region VI staff will furnish a copy of this report to the State of Texas.

Although there were deficiencies observed at the exercise, they did not detract from the overal.1 demonstrated capability by the State of Texas and Somervell and Hood Counties to protect the health and safety of the public.
