Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference ( A), and Interim Reports were transmitted by Ref erence (B) and (C). At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by September 20, 1984 Due to the extensive investigation and evaluation required, it is now expected - that this infornation will be finalized by October 18, 1984,-at which time a complete report will be submitted.

There is no new information or change. to the Interim Report at this-time.-
