Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 ASME Code Baseline Document Gentlemen:
Attachad is a draft copy of the ASME Code Baseline Document.
It is being developeJ as the result of NRC Unrasolved Item No. 83-07-02.
Its purpose is to identify the ASME Section III and Section XI Edi t ions,
Addenda, and Code Cases for all ASME Sect ion III components.
This draft of the document is being submitted in accordance with our summary statement in response to Mechanical Engineering Branch Question 210.34 and Draft SER Open Item 42 on NF component supports.
This response was discussed in the April 1984 audit and it was documented by Letter 2NRC-4-052 from E. J. Woolever to G. W. Knighton, dated May 7,1984. This draft of the ASME Code Baseline Document is not presently being submitted for NRC review or comment but is being submitted for information as a response to the MEB question.
Please make ar rangement s for a July 26, 1984, meeting in Bethesda so that this document in its final, approved form can be formally presented to the staff.
DLC will be prepared to answer NRC questions at that time.
It is specifically requested that Mr. G. Walton, NRC Sr. Res ident Inspec-tor, be in attendance at this meeting.
