'Mr'. John F. Stolz, Chief June 25, 1984 Page 2 u
setpoint of a CV-6 relay as 87% +/- 5% of 4160 volts.
Subsequently, in the referenced 1 letter, Philadelphia Electric Company submitted an amendment to an earlier application for amendment of the operating licenses dealing with our degraded grid protection system.
However, in the referenced 1 amendment, due to a typographical error, the setpoint of the CV-6 relay was incorrectly shown on page 71b (Table 3.2.B) as 87% + 5% of 4160 volts.
The minus sign in front of 5% was inadvertently deleted.
In the referenced 2 approved Amendments, the NRC officially issued Amendments 97 and 99 to Peach Bottom's Operating Licensos incorporating the error made in the CV-6 setpoint.
To correct this error, we have attached a revised page 71b to be substituted for the previously submitted page 71b of our Amendment to the December 22, 1977 Application for Amendment (reference 1 above).
The setpoint of the CV-6 relay is correctly shown on the attachment to this letter as 87% +/- 5% of 4160 volts.
This information has been discussed with Mr. G. Gears of your staff.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Very truly yours,
