Colt Industries-Fairbanks Morse Engine Division Emergency Diesel Generators Possible Exhaust Valve Cage Holddown Undertorqueing Supplemental Report No.1 Gentlemen:

The exhaust valve cage holddown torque has been checked on the two Colt-Pielstick Diesel Generators at the Union Electric Co., Callaway Unit No.1.

The torque values were found to be adequate.

The units are now free of the reported potential defect.

A copy of this report is being forwarded to the utility involved.
