Dear Mr. DeYoung:
}
l Thank you for your letter of May 29 concern-i ing deficiencies in HVAC equipment manufactured i
by the Bahnson Company.
A thorough investigation reveals that 4
t Florida Power Corporation has never done business with the Bahnson Company nor with Flakt.
- Weare, l
however, doing an in-depth review of our purchase orders to determine if either organization was used as a subcontractor to companies who did supply our HVAC equipment.
This research will take several
}
weeks.
We are extremely confident that no material i
from either of these organizations was supplied to CR #3; however, the completion of this research will provide 100 percent assurance.
j 1
Florida Power Corporation continues to be totally committed to a high degree of assurance
_.j that the health and safety of the public are being 1
protected and are in no way compromised by our activi-i ties at Crystal River Unit 3.
l We appreciate your encouragement and offer
}
of assistance.
