Completion of Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) Modifications GNRO-95/00103 1
,9 Gentlemen:
In a letter dated June 11, 1993, (GNRO-93/00064) Entergy Operations, Inc. indicated an anticipated completion date of September 1, 1995 for the incorporation of SPDS modifications, identified during the SPDS verification and I
validation (V&V), into the Plant Data System (PDS).
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the SPDS modifications identified by the VEV have been completed and the SPDS fully meets the requirements of NUREG-0737, Supplement 1, taking into account guidance provided in NUREG-1342.
As noted in previous submittals, the outstanding VEV discrepancies did not present major limitations on the operation of the SPDS and did not constitute essential elements for compliance with NUREG-0737, Supplement 1.
The modified SPDS has been thoroughly tested in the Grand Gulf simulator and all VEV comments resolved and dispositioned.
