Dear Mr. Tambic:

As per our phone conversation of May 14, 1984, the following information is being sent to your office. This was received May 14, 1984, from Daniel International Corporation.

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to our responsibilities as specified in Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 21 (10 CFR Part 21) Daniel International Corporation (DIC) wishes to advise you that material supplied by your company may be defective in workmanship. On December 30, 1983, Region IV of the NRC was advised of the conditions described in this letter by the owner of Wolf Creek Generating Station, Kansas Gas 6 Electric Company."

To date have requested samples which will be inspected either by an AISC representative or a Professional engineering firm. Further results will be forwarded to your office.
