Dear Mr. Denton:
In a recent inspection of the Emergency Plans for Catawba, it was noted that certain procedures were not appropriately referenced in the Crisis Management Plan. The six specific procedures are:
RP/0/B/5000/11 - Offsite Dose Projections without 0AC HP/0/B/1009/06 - Alternative Method for Determining Dose Rate within the Reactor Building HP/0/B/1009/12 - Quantifying Gaseous Releases through Steam' Relief Valves under Post-Accident Conditions HP/0/B/1009/13 - Offsite Dose Projection - Uncontrolled Release of Gaseous Radioactive Material through the Unit Vent HP/0/B/1009/14 - Offsite Dose Projection - Uncontrolled Release of Liquid Radioactive Material HP/0/B/1009/15 - Offsite Dose Projection - Uncontrolled Relcase of Gaseous Radioactive Material Other than through the Unit Vent Please be advised that these procedures have been written and are contained in the Catawba Nuclear Station - Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures. The appropriate references to these procedures in the Crisis Management Plan will be included in the next revision to that document.
