20555 Re: Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 pocket Number 50-275
Dear Commissioners:
This letter is to further extend until.' Friday, June 15 the deadline for Commission action in response to the May 3, 1984 petition by the Mothers for Peace under 10 CFR ?. 206.
The reasons for the extension are twofold:
- 1) Counsel is continuing to receive significant evidence that as relevant for your decision on the petition.
It must be assimil'ted and prepared for the record.
At the same time, a
counsel has been seeking with some success to disclose the evidence to NRC representatives.on an ongoing basis.
- 2) The Mothers seek the opportunity to obtain and review available records from the licensee's low-power
' testing program, for inclusion in the petition record.
Respectfully submitted,
