Dear-Mr. O'Reilly:
In ny letter of April 30, 1984 transmitting Significant Deficiency Report No. SD 413-414/84-06,_it was stated 'that all corrective. work would be complete by May 11,1984~. We have been delayed in clearing the partial penetration weld problem from Mode 6 systems due to rescheduling of the remaining system's stamp dates. This was in turn due to a large number of late hanger sketch revisions, field problems and an overly optimistic hanger erection rate.
We are virtually complete with the review of the welds but procedurally the
. problem cannot be signed off until~just prior to system stamping. We expect to complete the review by June 15, 1984.
