DoW nber 4991-Catawbs Unit 2 began the south of December a. hut down for its end of.

cycle4' refueling outacc. The unit was placed on.11ne at 1351 on 12/23 to end the refueling out age. - The uutt was tripped back off 11oo at 2059 on 12/2"8 for tlw turbine overspeed trip tent,- At,2310 on 12/23, the unit was placed back on line, and-a power increase-was l

begun.. The unit was held at approximately 204 power from 0810 to 1024 l

on 12/24 for core flux napping, at approximately 304 power from 0100 to 0550 on 12/25 for tuxbine/feedwater control testing, and a';

approximately $04 powter from 1104 on 12/25 to 0030 on 12/26 due to '?A' feedwator pump turbino problean. Tbc unit was then held at approxiv,ately 604 power from 0400 on 12/20 to 1020 on 12/27 due to the loss of a feedwater pump turbine on loss of DC control power, At 1033 on 12/27..the unit vna huid at approximately 624 power unt.fil
