Request for Additional Information Regarding Clinton Relief Request I4R-05 In reviewing the Exelon Generation Companys (Exelons) submittal dated December 16, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19350C642), related to alternatives to performance of pressure tests and VT-2 visual examination requirements for Combustible Gas Control (HG) piping for the Clinton Power Station, Unit No. 1, the NRC staff has determined that the following information is needed in order to complete its review:

In its letter dated December 16, 2019, the licensee stated that a similar approach to test for leakage was used in the third inservice inspection (ISI) interval. In order to assess any degradation mechanisms that may impact its determinations regarding impacts on the level of quality and safety, the NRC staff requests information regarding any HG piping leakage that exceeded the administrative limits in the third ISI interval.

The NRC requests a response within 30 days.
