APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the U.S.
Nuclear Regulat';.y Commission (the " Commission"), Duquesne Light Company ("DLC"), holder of Operating License No. DPR-66, hereby requests that the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that license be amended toCincorporate various administra-tive changes which update, clarify or add additional requirements.
The proposed technical specification change is set forth in Attachment A to this Application.
A safety evaluation is set forth in Attachment B.
Based on the guidance provided by the Commission and examples of changes not likely to involve a signi-ficant hazards consideration, published in the Federal Register (48 FR 14864), we have determined tnat the proposed change falls within the following commissions examples:
(i; a purely administrative change to technical specifi-cations, and (ii) a change that constitutes an additional limitation, restriction, or control not presently included in the technical specification.
Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92, we have deter-mined this proposed change is not likely to involve a significant hazards consideration.
WHEREFORE, Applicant respectfully requests that Appendix A to Operating License No. DPR-66 be amended in the form attached hereto as Attachment A.
