Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region II 101 Marietta Street, NW, Suite 2900 Atlanta, Georgia 30303 Re: Catawba Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-413 and 40-414 Dear Mr. O'Reilly In.ny letter of May 4,1984, a completion date of May 11, 1984 was given for corrective action required by Significant Deficiency No. 413-414/84-07. Corrective action for Unit 2 will not be complete by the May ll,1984 date. This is due to other Unit 1 fabrications which are receiving higher priorities at this time.
Unit 2 work on the subject deficiency will be complete by August 1,1984.
